Christian S. Donelson, a well known resident of the Fifth ward, died suddenly at his home, 111 Twentieth street, at 6:30 o'clock last evening of valvular heart trouble. He had not been in the best of health for the past couple of weeks. He worked during the day until 4 o'clock, when he went home, and a short time later he had his supper, after which he laid down on a couch in the kitchen for a rest. At the hour mentioned above he suddenly sat up, threw his hands to his chest as though in pain, and then fell back dead. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Donelson, deceased, and was born in Huntingdon county in June, 1868, and was at the time of his death past 40 years. He had resided in the city for the past ten years, having come here from Entriken and had since followed one of the old trade as a carpenter.

He was was married April 27, 1905 to Miss Cora Kelly, of Duncansvllle, who survives him, with one daughter, Edna Anna. He is also survived by two brothers; George of Huntingdon, Wilmer of Vilkinsburg; and three sisters; Mrs. Annie Davis and Mrs. j Elizabeth Berthold, of Braddock, and Mrs. Mollie Snyder, of Bellaire, Ohio.

The remains will be taken to the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Kelly, Duncansvllle today. Funeral will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery, Newry.
