Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Eads. Burial will follow in the Eads Cemetery. Mrs. Dawson is survived by her children: William F. "Bill" Dawson of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Lou (Art) Waitman of Stratton, CO, Lee Jean (Bill) Whitmire of Henderson, TX and Cathy (Tom) Davis of Eads. Mrs. Dawson is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews: Gary Finney, Daryl Finney, Sherry Bowen, and Barbara Abrams.
Mrs. Dawson died at the Weisbrod Extended Care Unit in Eads at the age of 99.
Memorial contributions should be made to the Weisbrod Memorial Hospital.
