Last Saturday Mrs. John Cochran had an unfortunate accident on the road to Hungry Hill Church. They met a boy on horseback and attempted to go around him and one wheel went off of the narrow bridge. She and an unknown young lady were thrown about 12 feet resulting in the complete paralysis of Mrs. Cochran. She was taken to her home four or five miles away and a physician could not help her. She died on Tuesday and the funeral was yesterday with interment in the family burying ground in Moore's Prairie. Mr. T. W. Piper was her son-in-law.
