TWIN FALLS - The body of a man found in the Snake River in late May has been identified.

The body was identified as Brandon A. Bean, 23, of Nampa who was reported missing from Canyon County on Dec. 23, said Lori Stewart, Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.

It was reported he took a bus to Twin Falls.

On May 24, a kayaker reported seeing a body in the Snake River west of the Centennial Park boat docks, east of the wastewater treatment plant.

Authorities identified Bean through dental records.

"Due to the length of time the body was in the water, no cause of death was determined; however, foul play is not suspected in this death," Stewart said in a press release Monday.
