“Mrs. Minnie Winkels, sister of Mrs. Minnie Covers of this city, died Monday morning at her home in Brookfield. Funeral services are to be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in Brookfield.

Since the death of her husband, she and her son, Al Winkels, continued to operate his plumbing business in Brookfield. In addition to the son, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henriette McCregor of Brookfield and a daughter in Illinois; and another son, Oren Winkels of Kansas City.” The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, September 4, 1960
