Death of Aged Resident
At an early hour on Saturday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Emily Milliner, aged 93, at the home of her son, Alfred Milliner, of 100 Hanover street. Deceased had been a life long resident of this town and enjoyed the respect and esteem of a host of friends. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James Morgan, one son, Alfred of Nanticoke, and several children in England; also seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her son, Alfred Milliner, on Hanover street. Interment will be in the Nanticoke Cemetery.
Emily died before the family located her daughter Emma (Emily) Mills-Armstrong as Emma left for the U.S. and was never heard from. Emma and Alfred reconnected in the mid 1930's when one of his sons went to work in the mines in Virginia.
