Irma Jean (Gupton) Cummings passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Feb. 3, 2014, at St Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston due to complications of a stroke.

Born Oct. 9, 1932, to Day Owen and Pearl Gertrude (Gaiser) Gupton at Whites Hospital in Lewiston, Irma graduated from Lewiston High School in 1950 and married Harold Joseph Alfrey.

Together they had three children, Loren (Lonnie) Harold, Cally Jean and Larry Day. They later divorced.

In 1974, she met and married Ben E. Cummings; they were married 39 years.
