It is said that her husband served in the Civil War, died before 1867, and is buried here in an unmarked grave (this information is unsourced). The earliest marked grave seems to date from 1881 (Anna TAYLOR), then one from 1882 (Charley BROOKS) and several from 1883 (Mrs. Elizabeth WHITTON, Joseph J. HUNTER, Selita Frances HENRY BENTON). There certainly could be earlier graves that are unmarked.
