Hannah Caroline Munson was first born American Girl, after her brothers Warren Clarence (1871-1871), William Sanford (1872-1873), Dennis Heber (1874-1938) and Wilford Niels (1877-1938).
Her parents were born in Denmark and married August 08, 1870 in Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake, Utah.
She was born May 26, 1879 in Spring City, Sanpete, Utah as were her five brothers preceding her. Her other siblings, Lyman Hyrum (1883-1965), Twins, Edna (1890-1892) and Edith (1890-1890) were born in Chester, Sanpete, Utah. Mina (1886-1975) was born in Union Fort, Great Salt Lake, Utah.
Hannah was married January 31, 1900 in Ely, White Pine, Nevada to Charles Riley Cook where they lived, per the 1900 Nevada Census.
I don't know exactly when or where they moved after leaving Ely but they were living in Redmond, Sevier, Utah when my father, Charles Rolland Cook was born May 13, 1901. From there they moved to Salt Lake City where Catherine Caroline (1903-1929) and Lavon Emmeline (1906-2002) were born. When Ivan (1909-1983) was born they had moved to Marysville, Fremont, Idaho. When Ione (1911-1988) was born they were living in Spring Glen, Carbon, Utah. From then on they remained in Carbon County until Grandmother's death on April 13, 1918 in Helper, Carbon, Utah.
(Death day 13 April was shared with her great grandson, Arthur Rolland (Dicky) Pelton1949-1969)
Each one of her children at one time another told me what a wonderful mother they remembered, even though they were young when she passed. Dad being the oldest attended her, running errands or whatever she wanted. Dad said she loved her ale and had him fetch a pale daily for her. Of course, when I mentioned this to Aunt Lavon she denied it as she didn’t recall that part of her mother.
In the last time of Grandmother’s life she was so very ill the doctors had her drinking only the cream of the milk.
