According to an article by Vivian Love Williams who did newspaper column called "The Family Tree" Ivin Shivers was buried in the Old Salem Church cemetery south of Shivers. I dont know whether his actual remains were moved to the Shivers Cemetery or if this headstone is just a memorial to him.
