Jane was the second daughter of Charles and Kathleen Kiely O'Neill. She lived both Bridgeport and Fairfield for many years before moving to Stratford. In addition to her husband, Robert, she was survived by her nine loving children, sons, Robert Gill of Southbury, John Gill and his wife, Susan, of Stratford, Thomas Gill of Stratford, and David Gill of Stratford; daughters, Maggie DiMartino of Stratford, Susan Townsend and her husband, Jim, of Shelton, Anne Nevers and her husband, Henry, of Fairfield, Eileen Gill of Stratford and Kady Hovan and her husband, Christopher, of Ansonia; two sisters, Eleanor Gill of Stratford and Dorothy Kokoszka of Westport; 16 grandchildren, Joseph DiMartino, Stacey Platt, Lisa Caturano, Henry Nevers, Julia Townsend, Melissa Leffert, Diana Gill, Meghan Gill, Jillian Bass, Christopher Hovan, Adam Hovan, Ryan Hovan, Kelly Hovan, Suzanne Gill, Robert Gill and Emily Gill; five great-grandchildren, Gregory Caturano, Sophia Caturano, Julia DiMartino, Alexia Maraday and James Bazso; and many nieces and nephews. She had been predeceased by her two younger brothers, Frank O'Neill and Charles Joseph O'Neill
