WOODSFIELD - Harry J. Baker, 73, of Township 9, Woodsfield, Miltonsburg community, died Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2003) at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. He was born July 31, 1929, in Monroe County to Harry C. and Gladys Ackerman Baker. He was a retired employee of Ormet Corp. at Hannibal and was a member of the Christian church of Woodsfield, a social member of the Woodsfield Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Woodsfield Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his former wife, Virginia Bonfini of Woodsfield, Miltonsburg Community; two stepsons and their spouses ; and two stepdaughters and spouse. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, with Minister Hubert Alexander officiating. Burial is in Miltonsburg Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
