William Toliver died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Laura B Arnold, 216 West Sixteenth Street, at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Toliver, 88 years old, and a retired farmer, was born in Lawrence County, IN., on Feb. 12, 1927, moved to Bloomington, IL with his parents at an early date where he grew to manhood and was married to Ann Tuis Jan. 29, 1852. Came to Iowa in 1854 and entered a quarter section of land four miles east of Lineville, Iowa, which was his home until 1883, when he moved to Lincoln County, KS, and later to Cawker City in 1888, where he resided until 1909. Afterwards he made his home with his children. His wife died May 10, 1912. He leaves four daughters and one son. They are Mrs. Laura B Arnold; Mrs. Mollie Fox of Lucas, KS; Mrs. Emma Snavely of Woodson, KS; and Mrs. Lily Goodie of Lincoln, NE. He was united with the Christian Union Church in an early day. The body was taken to Woodston, KS, where funeral services were held, in charge of the Masonic order of which he was a member
