Edwin Addington, 89, of Sutter died June 23, 2006, at his residence. Born in Sutter, he was a lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident. He worked as a clerk for Close Lumber for 42 years. He was a member of the Lions Club and treasurer of the Sutter Buttes Cross Committee for more than 50 years.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Catherine Addington of Sutter; a daughter, and a grandson.
Services: Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City. A graveside service is at 10 a.m. Friday at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave., Sutter. Pastor Ray Hudson will officiate.
