Columbus, GA - Randolph S. Aguirre "Paw Paw", 9 of Columbus GA, died Tuesday, May16, 2000 at his residence.
Graveside funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday in Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road. The family will receive friends this evening from 5:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral.
Mr. Aguirre was born December 15, 1950 in Bethesda MD, son of Wilma Meyers Aguirre of Charleston, SC and the late Henry Aguirre. He has lived in Columbus for the past twenty-nine years and was self employed. Mr. Aguirre was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, where he received numerous medals including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Metal with four Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960 Device, Rifle Marksman, two Overseas Bars and an Air Medal. He was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-nice years, Karen Sue Aguirre.
Other than his mother he is survived by a daughter, Shannon T. Aguirre of Columbus; a son Stephen Aguirre of Charleston, SC: three grandchildren, Kierra Jones, Breyanna Kimbrough and De'Angelo Kimbrough, all of Columbus, GA.
