Anthony P. Argenti of Rankin Avenue, an employee of the City of Providence Sanitation Department for 21 years before retiring in 1978, died yesterday at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Nursing Home.
He was the husband of Erika (Schlierf) Argenti.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Germaine) Argenti.
Mr. Argenti previously worked for the European Motion Picture Co. for 12 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 65, and the Third Order of the Franciscans. He was an Army veteran of World War II, served in Europe and held the Purple Heart.
Besides his wife he is survived by two brothers and a sister.
