Wren - Mrs. Barbara J. (Moser) Gebele, former resident, died Tuesday afternoon in Pontiac State Hospital at Pontiac, Mich. She was admitted to the hospital Friday.
A resident of Kalamazoo, Mich., she was formerly an interior designer.
Born Oct. 2, 1912, in Rockford, she was the daughter of John W. and Bess (Stewart) Moser.
Surviving are her stepmother, Mrs. Margaet Moser of Rockford, two sister, Mrs. Don (Martha) Frisinger and Mrs. Richard (Annis) Witters, both of Kalamazoo; a brother, Jason Moser of Wren, and two step-brother, John Sidenbender of St. Marys and Lawrence Sidenbender of Antwerp.
Her husband, Leroy Gebele, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. (EST) at the Zwick Funeral Home in Decatur, the Rev. O. B. Turner to officiate. Interment will be in Wren mausoleum. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Barbara Gebele dies in Michigan

Mrs. Barbara Jane Moser-Gabele, 58, of Kalamazoo, Mich., a native of Rockford, O., died Tuesday afternoon at the Pontiac, Mich., state hospital, where she had been a patient since last Friday.

She was born in Rockford Oct. 22, 1912, a daughter of John W. and Bess Stewart-Moser. Her husband, Leroy Gebele, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Gebele was a former interior designer and owner of the Art Mart store in West Palm Beach, Fla., until retiring in 1970.

Surviving is her stepmother, Mrs. Margaret Moser of Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Don (Martha) Frisinger and Mrs. Richard (Annis) Witters, both of Kalamazoo; a brother, Jason L. Moser of Wren, O.; and two stepbrothers, John Sidenbender of St. Marys, O., and Lawrence Sidenbender of Antwerp, O. Two sisters are deceased.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. (Ohio time) Friday at the Zwick Funeral Home, with Rev. O. B. Turner officiating. Entombment will be in the Wren Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. (Ohio time) Thursday until time of the services.
