Alanson Foster, an old resident in this section, died suddenly at his home in Potter, July 3. He had not been feeling very well for some little time, and the day before he died he remarked that he thought he would go to Rushville the next morning and see a doctor if it was pleasant, but died before morning. The funeral was held at the M. E. church on Saturday at 11 A. M , and his remains were buried in the cemetery here. Mr. Foster had a large circle of friends, consequently there was a large attendance at the funeral.
