History of the early settlers of Sangamon County, Illinois: Centennial Edition -- "Margaret" is a daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Anderson Jarrett. Her mother Sarah Jarrett died October 28, 1812, Kanawha County, West Virginia. The couple had six children. Jonathan Jarrett remarried January 1, 1814, Rebecca Wilson, they had eight more children. The family arrived in Sangamon County, Illinois November, 1826, and settled 1 1/2 miles south of the current town of Loami.

Margaret's nickname "Peggy" is found on daughter Leah Woody's Texas Death Certificate of September 7, 1928. Margaret passed away sometime after the 1880 Census. See Hamilton's site for family information. I believe the couple is buried in Parker County, Texas.
