DEATHS
In this city on Thursday evening last, Enoch Perkins, Esq. 68. In the death of Mr. Perkins our city has lost a valuable and highly respectable inhabitant. Firmness of moral principle, and a fearless and conscientious regard to duty, united with prudence and sound judgment, were prominent traits of his character. During a long residence in this place he was frequently called by his fellow citizens to stations of “trust and usefulness and was ever found capable and faithful”.
