Marge Loreman, of Marietta, danced into her hereafter on Sunday evening (July 21, 2013) at the Arbors nursing home, finally free from her long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. She was 82.

Margaret Mae Sigler Loreman was born April 25, 1931, in Mobile, Ala. She was the daughter of George Earle Sigler Sr. and Unah Coffin Sigler.

Marge enjoyed a professional ballet, performing, and teaching career that spanned more than 60 years. In her youth, she performed and taught at the Marguerite Benson Hall School of Dance in Mobile and Pascagoula, Ala., as well as appeared at numerous Mardi Gras Balls. She was a member of the Crescent City Ballet in New Orleans and a student of Lelia Haller of the Paris Opera BalLet.

In 1956, she married Navy pilot, Ron Loreman. In 1960, they moved to Marietta, where Ron joined the Marietta College Theatre Department and Marge later founded the Betsey Mills Club Ballet School and Ballet Workshop performing group. She also performed several seasons with the outdoor drama "Horn in the West" in Boone, N.C.

In addition to her work through the Betsey Mills Club, she provided dance instruction assistance to the Marietta College Theatre Department and participated in numerous community and regional events such as the Sternwheel Festival, Dance West Virginia, and Wide Horizons Summer Program.

She is survived by her four daughters, Ann Loreman (Manley Walker) of Chapel Hill, N.C., Dawn Loreman (Patrick Meadows) of Beckley, W.Va., Tonya Loreman of Naples, Fla., and Rhonda Loreman of Rochester, N.Y.; and her brother, George Earle Sigler, Jr. (Loretta) of Desoto, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Ron Loreman.

Marge donated her remains to The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and honoring her request, there will be no funeral. Condolences to the family may be sent to 140 Gross Street #112, Marietta, Ohio, 45750.
