The Rev. William Harvey Brown, 65, of Forest Chapel passed away Friday, January 20, 2006, at his residence.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at Paris Church of God with the Rev. Danny Hudson, the Rev. James Brown, the Rev. Mark Hamel, the Rev. Guy Parrish, and the Rev. James Rowten officiating. Burial follows in Forest Chapel Cemetery.

The family receives friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

He was born July 28, 1940, in Grant, Okla., the son of William Paul and Mildred Robertson Brown. He was a self-employed trucker, starting his own business when he was 18-years old. He started his ministry at the age of 15 and pastored the Chicota Assembly of God, Woodland Assembly of God, Clarksville Assembly of God, and was a member of Chicota Assembly of God. He married Ina Marie Stephens on Nov. 3, 1958, in Chicota.

He was preceded in death by a son, Norvan Harvel Brown; his parents; and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Ina Marie Brown of Forest Chapel; children, Ronald Brown and wife, Lisa, of Forest Chapel, Keleta Parrish and husband, Guy, of Muskogee, Okla., Celestia Potter and husband, Mike, of Frisco, Shauna Briscoe and husband, Rodney, of Forest Chapel and Brent Brown of Frisco; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Georgia McQueen, Paulette Wharton, Elaine Moreland, Uvyone Perkins, Nancy Wagoner, Kay Kelley, Rani Brewer, Alfreda Mareino and Pam Boykin; brothers, James Brown, Glenn Brown, Keithen Brown, Ricky Brown and Mickey Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Brown, Eddie Pryor, Coy Pryor, Jared Reaves, Silas Parrish, Simeon Parrish, Zach Rhyne, Zachary Buck, Walker Briscoe and Cain Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Brown, Keithen Brown, Rickey Brown, Mickey Brown, Butch Garrison, Dewayne Buck, Carlese and Thomas McCarver
