Lawrence "Buddy" Supansic, Jr., 88, of Grindstone, PA, passed away peacefully Friday, February 4, 2011 at Cherry Tree Nursing Home, Uniontown, PA.
He was born in Grindstone, PA, the son of Lawrence, Sr. and Lydia Supansic. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Clifford L. Supansic in January 2009 and his sister Dorothy Pearsol.
Lawrence was a native to the area, and was well known for his baking skills. He worked at Richard's Bakery in Uniontown for over 40 years. He was a member of Morning Star Grange, Grindstone, PA and St. Cecilia's R.C. Church in Grindstone, PA.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Supansic, daughter Aileen Ridgway and husband Art, Humboldt, TN, daughter in law Bobbie Supansic, Gadsden, AL; sister Irene Peach, Jeanette, PA and special niece, Kathleen Ward, Grindstone, PA.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, PA, Monday, February 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. A Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM, in the funeral home, with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil.
Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park in Brier Hill, PA.
