* I have personally checked all known sources for this Isaac ADCOCK (my 3rd Great Grandfather) and in none of those sources has it ever given a middle initial &/or a middle name of any kind let alone C. or Cantrell that some researchers are apt to use (This much IS FACT!).

* Isaac's father Leonard ADCOCK (estimated c1754 - 1831) was born between c1750 & 1760 per the 1830 Census & between c1755 & 1765 per the 1800 & 1810 Censuses, no other evidence that is currently known can account for other researchers giving him a birth year of c1745.
Also it is still unconfirmed that he (Leonard est. c1754 - 1831) was a son of Leonard ADCOCK (est. c1729 - 1797) of Granville Co., N.C., if he is, then the wife Mary mentioned in his father's Will would have been his step-mother.
John & Elianor (PARTEE) ADCOCK would be his (Leonard est. c1754 - 1831) grandparents if said Leonard ADCOCK (est. c1729 - 1797) was his father.

* Isaac's mother Jane (maiden name is still unknown) has never been confirmed by any known sources (not counting DNA) to have been born a CANTRELL, but supposedly some researchers are claiming that DNA is pointing to this being a fact.
