Leah Wuanita Cloud, 81 of Scio died Oct.10
Born in Weatherford, Texas, she married Johnny Cloud on November 11, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas. He died in 1960.
Mrs. Cloud moved to Oregon in 1960 and was a member of Scio Baptist Church where she was a deaconess. She worked at G & G Restaurant in Scio and was an active volunteer.
Survivors include sons Charles Cloud of Scio, Elbert of Boise, Idaho, and Richard Cloud of Eagle Point; daughters Brooksie Harry and Claudine Skipper, both of Abernathy, Texas, Sue Kelley of San Antonio and Johnlynn Fox of Vine Grove, Ken; brothers Malcolm Brooks of Hereford, Texas and Nonie Brooks of Carrollton, Texas; as well as 24 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Scio Baptist Church. Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery in Abernathy. Weddle Funeral Home, Stayton is handling arrangements.
