Agnes Catherine Connally was the oldest child of Hortense Horan and Ira Connolly, and she lived in Waco most of her life. She married her high school sweetheart, John D. Honeycutt, on Sept. 4, 1943. He lost his life while serving as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in 1944 in France during World War II. On Jan 16, 1946, she married Robert Eugene Gunder, and they had two children, Jacqueline Jean and Ronald Eugene. On Jun 21, 1952, she married Alive Ray Temples, and they had a son, Donald Ray. Agnes was a faithful Christian who believed in prayer. She was active at the Beverly Hills Baptist Church and Kendrick Lane Baptist Church in the1960s and 70s. From 2001 to 2010, she lived in Plano, and attended Metro Family Church. She ministered to numerous people in her home through prayer and bible study. Even in her illness, she prayed with hospice and nursing staff continually. She is buried in Rosemound Cemetery next to her late husband Ray. She is preceded in death by her parents as well. She is survived by her daughter Jackie Snell, Houston, Texas, her son Ron Gunder (Pat), Denver, Colorado , son Don Temples (Sam Smith), New York, New York, her brother Robert Kelly Connally, Robinson, Texas, her brother Carl Wayne Diver (Sandy), Nebraska, her sister Gloria Lewis, Waco, Texas, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
