Mrs. Sumner was born in Wheeler County and lived most of her life in Soperton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Leola Nobles Beck, and her husband, Byron Sumner. She was a homemaker and was a member of Trinity Assembly of God, Soperton.
Graveside services will be held in Westview Cemetery, Soperton at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7 with the Reverend James Rayburn officiating. Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation.
