Bill is survived by his loving children, Paula (Steve) Street of Bourbonnais, IL, Dave (Lola) Bills of Bradley, IL, Karen (Kevin) Mantz of Naperville, IL, Mark Bills of Downers Grove, IL and Dawn (Gary) Lakoskey of Plainfield, IL; his cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Street, Celeste, Mandy, Alex and Luc Bills, Kelly (Ian) Perry, Dana and Scott Mantz, Carissa and Courtney Rosine, Nathan, Grace and Jeremy Lakoskey; his adored great-grandchildren, Keagan Douglas, Mikaila Humphries and Owen Perry.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Vivian Bills, in 2004.
Bill was a graduate of Thorton High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Bill earned his bachelors degree in business from Roosevelt University. Throughout his life, Bill enjoyed woodworking and always kept up on current events.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 3, 4:00-8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment with military honors will be Wednesday, June 4, 11:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
