Mary Katherine "Kathy" Oliver, 83, Brentwood, Tenn., formerly of Princeton, died at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Somerfield Health Center's The Heritage, Brentwood, of natural causes.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Morgan's Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating.

Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation was Tuesday at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, she was born May 29, 1930, the daughter of the late Flois Allen and Ruth Florence Pruitt Pool Jones.

She was retired as a respiratory therapist at Caldwell County Hospital, where she worked for 30 years. She was a volunteer at the Free Health Clinic, where she worked in nursing and respiratory for more than 25 years. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the choir and mission's director and volunteered as church receptionist.

Her husband, Luther Oliver, preceded her in death. Her stepfather, Charlie Jones, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Stanley (Kelly) Oliver, Lexington, S.C., Michael (Debbie) Oliver, Versailles, and Randy (Olena) Oliver, Frankfort; a daughter, Mrs. Jeff (Lisa) Bradford, Franklin, Tenn.; a half-brother, James Ellis Pool, Eddyville; a half-sister, Peggy Hubbard, Caldwell County, a stepbrother, Wesley Jones, no address available; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
