Funeral services for Jessie Franklin Troutman, 88, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Scott Tidwell and Deacon Andy Muldrow officiating. Interment will follow in the Ace Community Cemetery in Ace Texas. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Honor Guard Post #8568. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Troutman was born on August 28, 1925, in Purcell, Oklahoma and passed away on May 30, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He proudly served his country in World War II from 1943 – 1945. Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, John H. Troutman and Blanch (Ficklin) Troutman; son, Lee Chavers; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Troutman of Ace, Texas; son, Ralph Smith of Ace, Texas; daughters, Donna Brooks and husband, Larry of Ace, Texas, Debra Moores of Baytown, Texas, Betty Collins and husband, Mikel of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sister, Laura Malena of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
