Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bess; her sister, Rachael (John) Sherk; her brothers, Kenneth (Mary) Vine, and Donald (Vera) Vine; and her loving husband of 56 years, Paul Harold Diab. Also preceding her in death were her dear daughter, Cheryl (David) McCahon, and her beloved son, Major Father Thomas P. Diab.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Harold Gene (Anita) Diab of Spain; George (Judy) Diab of Findlay; Mark "Bud" Diab of Plymouth, Michigan; and her daughters, Nancy (David) Kaminski of Sylvania; and Christina Hickman of Elmore.
Janet was also loved by her surviving nieces and nephews, her good friend, Charles Johnson, and many others.
Janet greatly loved her 6 grandsons, Kristopher, Andrew, Benjamin, Nathan, Nicholas, and Kurtis, her 4 granddaughters, Mary, Georgeann, Juliana, Wendelin, and her 3 great-grandchildren, David Paul, Alexander, and Sophie.
Janet's family would like to give a special thanks to the dedicated and caring staff at The Waterford At Levis Commons in Perrysburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg, on Monday, June 2, 2014, beginning at 10:30 A.M. The family will be receiving friends at the church 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Father Ted Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence & St. Michael's Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
Those wishing to give a memorial donation are asked to consider St. Michael's Catholic Church.
