Esther Moehrke, a native of Stockbridge town for the past seven years a housekeeper on a large farm at Neillsville, died June 14 at Milwaukee County General hospital. She had gone to Milwaukee on a visit and was taken suddenly ill while there.

Funeral services were held at the Pfeffer Funeral home. The Rev. Orval Egbert of Ebenezer Ev. and Reformed church officiated. Burial was in Hillside cemetery.

The deceased was born in Stockbridge town March 16, 1906, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto E. Moehrke. Her mother preceded her in death April 19, 1934.

Esther Moehrke received her primary education in Kloten public school. She then entered Chilton High school, graduating with the class of 1923.

She is survived by her father, Otto E. Moehrke, Stockbridge town, and a brother, Delmar, also of Stockbridge town. Another brother, Eldred preceded her in death.
