WHITE HALL, MD Peter Ness Wright, 64, died Friday, May 16, 2008, at Barbara J. Egan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Shrewsbury. There will be a viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stablers Cemetery, Stablers Church Road and Downes Road, Parkton, Md., with the Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. Born July 28, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., Peter served in the U.S. Army. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying airplanes and helicopters, and riding motorcycles. Peter also enjoyed volunteering at Goodwill in Shrewsbury and helping farmers repair machinery. He loved animals, especially his pet cats. Peter is survived by many friends.
