Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louthenia Townsend* Crumpton; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Ann Kuhns, Owego, N.Y. and Miss Nancy Lynn Crumpton, Attalla; a son, Arthur W. Crumpton, Jr., U.S. Navy; his stepmother, Mrs. Sallie Crumpton, Birmingham; seven sisters, Mrs. Exa Turner, Mrs. Dossie McPherson and Mrs. Vinia Vinyard all of Birmingham; Mrs. U.G. Stedham, Mrs. Jim Bennett and Mrs. Mildred Barr all of Anniston; Mrs. T.E. Duke, East Gadsden; nine brothers, Charlie, Elbert, Hubert, Alton, Alvin, Reuben, Milford, Billy and Toxie Crumpton all of Birmingham. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Collier-Butler Funeral Home. (*) Townsend should be Townson
