Mrs. Kahre was born Ethel Rebecca Ward on May 4, 1913 in Topeka. She was a supervisor for the El Paso County Welfare Department, Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon.
Survivors include four sons, Alfred V. of Yukon, Okla, Gerald A. and Dennis W., both of Colorado Springs, and Dwight L. of Salina; two daughters, Lorraine A. Plummer of Bartlesville, Okla, and Muriel E. McNutt of Elwood, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced at a later dae by Nolan Funeral Home, Colorado Springs. Inurnmentwill be in Memorial Gardens, Colorado Springs.
There will be no visitation.
