Thomas Lundy Lineberry, 76, of Galax passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rixey Ethan and Annie Elizabeth Lundy Lineberry; brother, Ethan Winfred Lineberry; grandson, Thomas Joseph Holderfield; great grandson, Findley Thomas Lineberry.
Survivors include his wife, DeLores Dotson Lineberry; children and spouses, Tommy and Lou Ann Lineberry, Patti and Jeff Holderfield, and Cathy and Gene Sizemore; brother and sisters-in-laws, Chris and Teresa Lineberry, Bettie Lineberry, and Mary Ann Dotson; aunt, Carolyn Morrow;
Thomas retired from McKnight Oil Co. He was a long time member of the First Christian Church of Galax and the First United Methodist Church of Hillsville and a charter member of Out of the Box Worship Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Collins, and Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Cemetery.
Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Lineberry family.
