Dorothy Della McKinney was born July 7, 1900 to Samuel Milton and Julia Tennessee (Stamps)McKinney in Carroll County, Arkansas. Miss McKinney was the youngest of 12 children. She oved with her father to Colorado in 1940. She made her home with her sister Ora B. Hill and later with sister-in-law, Elsie McKinney and also with her nephew, Milvin (Johnny) McKinney. She attended the Free Methodist Church in Greeley, Colorado. Eight sisters and 3 brothers were deceased at the time of her death.
