Sharlet Boehme Courmier, age 67 of Vinton, Louisiana passed away on May 31, 2014 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.

Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Officiating will be Reverend Lynn Ashcraft.

Burial will follow at Nibletts Bluff Cemetery in Vinton, Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm Monday, June 2, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange on August 5, 1946, she was the daughter of Charles Boehme and Lois (Remkes) Boehme.

On May 30, 1975 Sharlet married the love of her life. The couple was able to celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary together. Sharlet was a member of the North Orange Baptist Church and the Lake Charles Sail and Power Squadron.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Boehme.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Courmier of Vinton, Louisiana, her mother, Lois Boehme of Orange, her son, Chuck Courmier and his wife Jana of Spring Hill, Tennessee, her granddaughter, Kamryn Courmier, her twin sister, Shirley Long and her husband Victor of Tyler, Texas, her brother, Billy Boehme and his wife Pam of Orange her sister, Becky Trahan and her husband Johnny of Orange and numerous nieces and nephews.
