Spokane, Wash. Dec. 27 - Ole Parlet, aged 40, a rancher of Trentwood, near here, died Tuesday from loss of blood as a result of wounds he sustained while trying to rescue livestock from his burning barn early today. Neighbors who found Parlet in the structure after he had sent his daughter to summon help, carried him out. Although attending physicians expressed the belief that he must have fallen on a sharp object, the sheriff began investigation on the theory that foul play might have been responsible.
