WARREN - William A Murphy, 69, of 722 Woodland NE., died at 2 p.m; Sunday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital of complications following a short illness.

Born Sept. 8, 1905 in Bazetta Twp., he was a son of George and Rella Grubbs Murphy and was a lifetime resident of Trumbull County.

He owned-and operated the Murphy's TV for 30 years, retiring five years ago. Mr.Murphy was the first television repairman in Warren. He was a member of the Trumbull County Boat Club and the East Ohio Hobby Club.

Surviving are his wife, Violet King Murphy, to whom he was married July 5, 1929, two sons, William A. Jr., of Niles and Howard C, of; Warren, one sister, Mrs. Norwood (Flossie) Collier, of Bazetta Twp. and a brother, Charles, of Bazetta Twp; and six grandchildren.

A daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services win be held from the Carl W. Hall, Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
