Sara Margaret Lasher McClelland, 91, of Union City, passed away, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Homestead Hearth Personal Care. She was born on February 8, 1927 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania a daughter of Theodore Lasher and Elsie Walker Lasher. She married Frank Carl McClelland he preceded her in passing on November 15, 2010. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Spartansburg. Sara enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, dominos, and playing cards especially skip-bo with her family. She is survived by four sons, Carl McClelland and his wife Carol of Lincolnville, Dennis McClelland and his wife Colleen of Lincolnville, Roger McClelland of Union City, and Ronald McClelland and his wife Kathy of Lincolnville; a daughter, Shirley Vanderhoff and her husband Leon of Spartansburg; a brother, James Lasher of Ohio; eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Frank, she was preceded in passing her parents; a daughter in law, Sandy McClelland; brothers, Franklin, Robert, and Paul Lasher; and sisters, Martha Smith and Alberta Woods. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 23rd from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, July 24th at 10:00am at the funeral home with Reverend Neil Bickerink of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Spartansburg, officiating.
