In 1893 he was Vice President of the Dells Lumber Company, living at 922 3rd Avenue in Eau Claire,WI. His widow Mary was still living there according to the 1900 and 1910 census. Four children were born to them; two sons and two daughters. One son and two daughters died in childhood.
