Funeral services for Phyllis Jeanne Hicks will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 12 noon at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Crider. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Oakmont Memorial Gardens in Lafayette, California.
Phyllis was born September 3, 1926 in Oakland, California and entered into rest May 29, 2014 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Phyllis and Glen began their life together in California and traveled to many areas and have spent the last 42 years in Minden, Louisiana.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years W. Glen Hicks of Minden, sons Dorwin Hicks and wife Divina of Minden, Greg Hicks and wife Renee of Benton, Mark Hicks and wife Marika of Austin, Texas, and grandchildren Allison Goodling, Jeff Hicks, Alan Hicks, Stephanie Hicks, Vanessa Laird, and Quincy Hicks and two great-grandchildren Lilian and Beau Goodling.
