She died on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 88 years.
She was a member of Fist United Methodist Church in Sheridan, was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was the widow of Minor Fair Green to whom she had been married for 55 years and who preceded her in death on October 8, 1999. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters: Bernice Rhoden McCool, Lela Rhoden McCool, Mabel Rhoden King and brothers: Louis, Rommie, and W.J. Rhoden.
She is survived by her son: Terry R. Green and wife Anne of Sheridan, and
Daughter Delores Green Kingston, also of Sheridan.
One Grandson, Cody W. Kingston
One Sister: Louise Bell of Houston, Texas and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Sheridan with Reverend’s Darrell Mann and John Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan on Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
