C. Geneva Boyd of West Yellowstone died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, in Ennis.

Services and interment will be held at a later date at Mounds Memorial Cemetery, Mounds, Okla.

K&L Mortuaries of Ennis is in charge of arrangements.

BOYD — C. Geneva, age 91, of

West Yellowstone, MT, passed away

Friday, January 13, 2006 in Ennis,

MT. Geneva was born November

15, 1914 in Mounds, OK to Joseph

and Cora (Kirkwood) Boyd. As a

young girl she was raised and attended

school in Beggs, OK and

later moved to Rose, OK, where

her family bought and operated a

General Mercantile store. She became

Postmaster in 1938 and operated

a rural route. She enlisted in

the WAAC in 1942. She left the

postal service and sold the store

moving to Richland, WA in 1950.

She relocated to California in 1957

where she resided until 1994. After

a brief relocation back to Oklahoma

and living 4 years in the Chicago,

IL area, she spent her final years in

West Yellowstone and Ennis, MT.

She married William Andres, November

of 1944 in Siloam Springs,

AR. He died November 27, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by:

her parents; a half brother, John

Boyd; and sisters, Daisy Boyd, Naoma

Drake, Mary Groom, Bertha

Hill, and Beula Boyd. She is survived

by: a daughter, Katherine Setser

of West Yellowstone; granddaughters,

Amy and John McCreery

of Hampshire IL, and Julianna and

Kevin Pfeifer of West Yellowstone;

6 grandchildren, Heather, Russell,

Christopher, Hannah, Shane, and

Connor; a sister, Rowena Murphy

of Tulsa, OK; and numerous nieces

and nephews. Memorials are preferred

to the Madison Valley Manor

in Ennis, MT 59729. Service and

interment will be held at a later

date in the Mounds Memorial

Cemetery at Mounds, OK. K&L
