Mr. Lehr was married to Hattie Brunk February 24, 1901. They have two children living, Durward and Marie, and one deceased, Willard, who died July 16, 1909.
Mr. Lehr was born a quarter of a mile from his present home. He attended school and farmed with his father until he was twenty-three, when he married and began farming for himself. He purchased his father's home place of two hundred and twenty acres. He has about a hundred and twenty acres under cultivation.
Mr. Lehr is an enterprising young farmer and a very successful grower of sheep and Norman horses. He is a member of the M.B.A. lodge, a Democrat in politics and a member of the Baptist church.
