Clarence was a World War II veteran who received the World War II Medal, United States of America Medal 1941-1945, Army Occupation of Japan Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign 2, Bronze Star Medal, and the Efficiency Honor Fidelity Medal. After his service to our country, he was a roofer in the middle Georgia area who owned his own roofing company.
Clarence is survived by a son,4 daughters, as well as 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Williamson Johnson, 3 sons; Tyrone Johnson, Erik Johnson, and Darix Johnson, and a daughter, Mona Lisa Nash.
A service, with full military honors, will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Chaplain Janet Smith will be officiating with Clarence's step-daughter, Mrs. Rose Evans, assisting.
