Howard Dixon Dies in Colorado
Memorial services were held January 18th in Denver, Colo., for Howard Dixon who passed away in Denver, January 14, 1971. He was 67 years of age.
Howard was the eldest son of the late Hod and Ollie Puckett Dixon and was born near Buffalo, December 19, 1903, He had been associated with grain elevator operations in the Keenesburg and Denver areas for 40 years.
Survivors include the widow, the former Myrtle Abbott, three sons, Eugene and Glen, Denver, Colo., and Marvin of Fredrick, Colo.; one daughter, Mr. Glen Flynn, Mt. Laurel, N.J.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Merl Dixon and Carl Dixon of Yates Center, Ross Dixon, Wichita; three sisters, Mrs. George Church and Mrs. Floyd Taylor, Yates Center, Mrs. Cloe Taylor, Topeka.
Mrs. Church and daughter, Mrs. Thelma Crumrine of Hill City attended the service.
