Harold E. Peters, 77, 12831 Rose Road, Plymouth, Indiana passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 5:54 p.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.
He was born on January 4, 1929 in Winamac, Indiana, to Edward and Ethel (Jones) Peters. Harold married Barbara Personette on September 24, 1949 in Lakeville, Indiana.
He was a member of The Culver V.F.W. Harold worked for several L. P. Gas Companies. He also enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.
Harold is survived by his wife, Barbara Peters; their daughter, Donna (Greg) Wynn of Plymouth; their son, Larry (Pam) Peters of Rochester, Indiana; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his sister, Edna Mae and James Snyder of Plymouth; and his brother, Roger and Mona Peters of Oklahoma. Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann, his sister, and his two brothers.
Services will be held on Saturday March 11, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Resner officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
A time of visiting and sharing memories with the Peters family, will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563.
