Mrs. Pyburn, 91, a longtime Austin resident, died Thursday (Oct. 22, 1998) at Grand Meadow Health Care Center in Grand Meadow.
Goldie Miller was born July 29, 1907, in Austin.
On June 26, 1926, she married James A. Pyburn in Mapleton, Minn. Mr. Pyburn died in 1965. Her hobbies included crocheting and traveling north to fish. She also enjoyed her grandchildren.
Survivors include five sons, Robert, Roger and William, all of Austin, John of Green Valley, Ariz., and Kenneth of Menahga, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alta Miller of St. Paul, Minn. Her husband, one grandson and one sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour before the service on Monday at Worlein Funeral Home.
